This week is full of social media updates in the digital marketing world. Facebook and Instagram have some new beneficial features, while Twitter’s popularity is in limbo.

4 New Creator Tools For Facebook And Instagram
New tools have been released by Meta to assist creators in expanding their communities, finding new viewers, and making money from their content. Let's begin.

  1. Updates to digital collectibles: Soon, creators will be able to produce and market their own digital collectibles both on and off Instagram. Additionally, Meta is adding support for the Solana blockchain and Phantom wallet and expanding the categories of digital collectibles that you can showcase on Instagram to include video. The names and descriptions of specific collections, for which OpenSea has enhanced the information, will also be accessible on Instagram.
  2. Subscriptions on Instagram: In order to increase the number of creators who can make a reliable living and develop closer relationships with their most devoted fans, Meta is opening up access to subscriptions on Instagram to all qualified creators in the U.S.
  3. Stars and gifts: Meta is introducing new features to make earning Stars and interacting with Star senders easier for creators already utilizing Stars. Meta is testing the new functionality with a small group of creators worldwide.
  4. Professional mode for Facebook profiles: Creators can start building a worldwide community from their own profile using a set of tools available in professional mode. Creators can qualify to get compensation through Stars, in-stream advertisements, Facebook Reels, and Reels Play. They will also have access to tools for learning, audience and content analytics, and more.

These new capabilities may be used by established creators as well as up-and-coming ones to connect with audiences, expand their reach, and generate revenue on Facebook and Instagram.

YouTube Has Introduced A TikTok And Twitch Co-Streaming Feature
YouTube creators can now co-stream live videos with their pals on Twitch and TikTok. Go Live Together is the name of the new YouTube feature, which will be released over the coming weeks. Creators will have the option to invite visitors on board to exchange experiences, work together, or just "hang out." An extra possibility to monetize their work is provided by the placement of ads.
