Look, we get it. It’s 2025. Do people even read emails anymore? The answer is yes, yes they do - if you are doing it correctly. We aren’t trying to ‘spam’ you, but we are ‘attached’ to emails. Email puns… Don’t leave us on ‘read’!​

Ok, anyways, if you are still on-the-fence on if email marketing is still relevant and worthwhile to your business, here are a few reasonings on why you should ‘forward’ it to the top of your to-do list:

  • It is Personalized Automation
Social media, as most people recognize, can be impersonal. Oftentimes, they are just posts that are meant for a general target audience, not you directly. With emails, you are able to separate the receivers for a more targeted, personalized email. 

For example: if you’re a shoe store, you can send an email promoting new sandals to someone who just bought a pair of summer shoes, or you can send 15% off to those who haven’t purchased in a while. 

Being able to personalize the message to those who are more likely to purchase a specific product will overall boost revenue and keep leads engaged. 

  • It is Mobile-Friendly
Other than those who consistently sit at a computer, most people go on their phones to read emails. Whether it is a factor of wanting to make sure they don’t miss an important message, or that they are bored, you can take advantage of this! 

Make sure that your email design, whether it is just words or if it includes graphics, is mobile-friendly. The format on a desktop, tablet, and cellphone will differ, so consider checking that it works on all domains.  

An extra bonus is that you can integrate with other channels, such as social media! On the media platform(s), you can generate leads to sign up for emails - and vice versa, you can have links to your socials on your email campaigns. Connecting those marketing efforts will only benefit you. 

  • It is Cost-Effective
When looking at other modes of marketing, executing and consistently using email marketing is cost-effective. It is not overly pricey to implement, plus has a high ROI. Considering how many people you are reaching and the potential engagement and leads it will make, we think it is a worthwhile investment. 

  • It is Multifaceted
There are so many options to use emails for! Whether you want to promote your products or services, share important information about the company, nurture leads, or provide customer support - emails are a great option. Emails are a quick, easy, and effective way to share many different aspects of information.  

Having good customer service makes the customer want to come back. There are many different ways to do this through email: giving bonus details about the product or service, providing shipping information and updates, following through with the consumer on how they like the product or service, or even fixing a mistake. Keeping communication open and direct by using email further allows B2C trust. 

How to effectively email market:
  • Use captivating subject lines. No one wants to click on something that looks boring. Make the audience feel like they are missing out if they don’t click on it!
  • Keep an aesthetically pleasing design. Like said above, make sure text and graphics are mobile-friendly. Don’t use hard to read fonts or colors. Keep it simple yet enticing. 
  • Make sure that the emails are targeted to a specific audience. 
  • Make sure you have a marketing strategy that is measurable. Then measure periodically to ensure that the goals are being met. Run tests and pay attention to analytics, they don’t lie!
  • Always include a Call To Action. These encourage engagement and prompts to  sales. 
*These are important in other marketing aspects, too! Consider how they can be implemented universally to up your marketing game!

Email marketing is still prevalent and thriving in today’s social media driven society! Don’t ‘filter’ it out! With so many personalized and versatile options with emails, consider what it can do for your business.
